About

Emma Chichester Clark studied at Chelsea School of Art and the Royal College of Art.

She has written and illustrated many books for children including The Blue Kangaroo and Plumdog series.

She has also illustrated the work of other authors such as Michael Morpurgo, Roald Dahl, Kevin Crossley-Holland, Geraldine McCaughrean, Allan Ahlberg, Quentin Blake and Eoin McLaughlin.

After living in London for a long time, Emma now spends most of her time in Suffolk, where she continues to write and illustrate books and also to paint pictures, just for fun, whenever she can.
